The summit is the result of months of talks between the US Secretary of State & his Canadian counterpart who agreed to hold this special meeting on the N. Korean threat

They signed two memoranda of co-operation, one on political consultations and the other on the diplomatic education field
Kotzias had referred to Greece’s right to extend its territorial sea & noted that this was its “own right, not a problem that we can discuss with Turkey”
The talks focused on bilateral relations & on ways to further strengthen them, with emphasis on economy, energy, transportation & culture
Meanwhile, Albania is conducting a well-planned "velvet" ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Greek minority of Albania
Mobilization from the Greek side as well
Many important issues between the two countries remain open
He will prepare the ground for the visit of Turkish President Erdogan
The diversity of participants shows the breadth of the issues for discussion & concern
