Thessaloniki celebrates its Patron Saint, Saint Demetrius, and the 114th Anniversary of its Liberation

The official doxology is being held at the Church of Saint Demetrius in the presence of the President of the Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas. The customary official doxology for the dual celebration will also take place, presided over by Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece
