Renowned Greek singer Dimitris Xanthakis dies

Piraeus-born Xanthakis, celebrated for a string of 'laïko' music hits through the 1960s, 70s and 80s, passed away on Sunday 2 August; his funeral took place on Tuesday, his son Vasilis announced in a Facebook post
