Award-winning author Thanasis Valtinos passed away at the age of 92

His funeral will be held on Saturday at Athens’ First Cemetery. Known for his rich literary contributions from the 1960s to the present, Valtinos was elected a member and served as president of the Academy of Athens in 2016
