Terror group claims responsibility for the book-bomb sent to Itea police station

The terror organisation Conspiracy of Cells of Fire/FAI IRF claimed responsibility for the book-bomb sent to a police station in the coastal city of Itea

Ιn a proclamation posted on the websites ‘contrainfo’ and ‘omniaTV’, the terror organisation said that the bomb was sent as a reprisal for the death of Albanian prison inmate Ili Kareli in the Nigrita prison facility in Serres, in which prison guards have been implicated.

Kareli had been transferred to Nigrita in Serres after stabbing and killing the prison guard Giorgos Tsironis at the Malandrinos prison facility in Fokida, where he was being held.

As it is mentioned in the proclamation, the Itea police station was targeted “not just as a military base of the enemy, but because it is the place where the inmate Ili Kareli was beaten and tortured before being handed over to his last executioners at the Nigrita prisons.”

Also, the terrorist group through their proclamation expressed their solidarity with the “wanted urban guerrilla Christodoulos Xiros” (a convicted member of the terror group ‘November 17’), 10 jailed members of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire currently in Greek prisons and members of the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI) held in prisons throughout the world.
