The celebration of Easter culminates with the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, as well as the first resurrections in the holy temples on the morning of Holy Saturday, marking the end of the Week of Passions.
Particularly noisy was the first Resurrection at Agios Konstantinos Omonia, with the priest scattering laurel leaves to the faithful and the church bells ringing loudly.
