The NATO Tiger Meet 2022 Exercise has begun (video-photos)

For the first time Greece hosts one of the most legendary exercises in the world

From Monday 9 to Friday 20 May 2022, the NATO NATO Tiger Meet 2022 Medium Scale Multinational Air Exercise is being held at 116th Combat Wing/Araxos Air Base.

The purpose of the exercise is to provide high quality operational training in the spirit of “train as you fight” by improving the skills and cooperation of members in conducting complex operations.

The exercise will be conducted throughout the Athens FIR, with the participation of a large number of air assets from the host country of Greece as well as from Belgium, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic and NATO.

Also participating are Austria, Germany, the USA, the Netherlands, Portugal and Poland with observers and personnel, as well as assets from their Army and Navy forces.
