“The Watchful Cheetah” was snapped by Greece’s 8-year-old Leon Petrinos, a young Greek shutterbug, whose work will be featured at the Natural History Museum of London (NHML) along with another 100 winning photos. The image of the female big cat peering through the grass at the Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya got the young boy into the BBC and NHML’s under-10 category for the best Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
