Thieves with a… sweet tooth stole 260 tons of chocolate bonbons

The police has discovered the 50 tons in a warehouse in Italy

260 tons of chocolate bonbons worth 1.5 million euro had been stolen back in August from a factory in Switzerland. Today the police authorities announced that they found the 50 tons in a warehouse in Nola city of northern Italy.

The chocolate bonbons were wrapped in shiny red paper and were placed in 5000 boxes.

The Swiss company suffered damage of the huge amount of chocolates that went missing.

So far, according to the French news agency two arrests have already been made.
