A California court gave permission to 64 year-old pilot Douglas Gotterba to speak openly about his personal relationship with 60 year old John Travolta, despite the latter’s lawyers’ efforts, who claimed that the 64 year-old signed a private binding document not to disclose information about his relationship with the popular actor.

Already in 2012, Gotterba had talked about the “romantic” and “Secret” relationship with John Travolta on National Enquirer magazine, revealing titillating details of their affair which lasted for six years.

According to Gotterba, they met in February 1981 when he sought a job as a pilot in “Alto” company. Travolta hired him and seven months later, they stayed at the “Highlands Resort” in Monterey, California. There, the actor seems to have been very loving with the pilot. They had a romantic dinner, drank a fantastic red Merlot and then Travolta invited him to his room for a massage. The actor performed the massage, which was followed by sex, according to the 64 year-old pilot’s confession.

He describes the actor as a companion who performed sudden raids, searching drawers and trying to find out if Gotterba cheated. The two were passionately in love on many romantic trips to Hawaii, Kenya and Amsterdam, and the actor often had a female companion, purely for reasons of “covering his image”, as Gotterba recounts.

The relationship between the two men ended after quarrels and tensions in 1986 and 1987.
