The Greek Minister of Finance Euclid Tsakalotos repeated the Greek position that there is no need for voting new measures for beyond 2018, as it is not part of the EU’s culture to legislate for two years ahead.
He stated that there was a common ground reached on every subject and that everybody underlined the importance of the time factor.
He admitted, however, that there still is an issue with the IMF that wants to vote and legislate future measures for the period after the program at this time. He said the we believe we can cover our obligations.
