Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras visited the Ministry of Agricultural Development at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. He met with Productive Reconstruction Minister Panos Skourletis and Agricultural Development Minister Vangelis Apostolou.
Departing from his meeting, he told journalists that the agreement with Greece’s four creditors is not without its thorns. He said that the government would try to balance out the measures and ensure their just distribution, especially for farmers.
“We hope the agreement will put an end to uncertainty,” he said, adding that the government would keep negotiating for better measures.
Productive Reconstruction Minister Panos Skourletis pledged that agriculture is of great importance to the Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA).
