Tsipras: We have to find solutions for the weakest ones

“Let’s sit down to talk about it and find solutions” Mr. Tsipras told the representatives of the scientific community

“We have to find solutions for the weakest ones,” Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said in a meeting with representatives of the scientific community, at Maximos Mansion.

“It is true that when you take measures for the sustainability of the system, they are usually horizontal. But this is a wrong practice,” he said and stressed the need for finding ways to support the middle and low incomers and new scientists.

“We totally agree, but this cannot happen with this plan,” said Giorgos Stasinos, president of Technical Chamber of Greece, while Mr. Tsipras responded: “Let’s sit down to talk about it and find solutions”.

The president of the Hellenic Medical Association, Michalis Vlastarakos, referred to the young scientists who leave Greece and seek jobs abroad. “We need to see what we can do for these young people, so as to be able to survive in their country” he said while exiting Maximos Manision he said they had a productive discussion with the prime minister and asked him to review the bill.
