Turkey violates Greek airspace 11 times

The Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, in accordance with established practice

Eleven Turkish F-16 fighters violated Greek national airspace on 11 occasions on Thursday.

The Turkish fighters, together with a CN-235 spy plane, moved to the Northeast, Central, and Southeastern Aegean and committed 9 infringements of the air traffic rules in the Athens FIR.

According to the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), the Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, in accordance with established practice.
