Two injured after gunshots were fired in Paleo Faliro

Police are after an Albanian

Two people were injured after gunshots were fired in the area of Paleo Faliro in Attica on Tuesday evening.

Greek police arrived on the scene after being alerted to the incident. According to reports, a 26-year-old woman from Albania, along with her 20-year-old brother and a 30-year-old Greek man who was riding in a car, were shot by a 36-year-old Albanian citizen, the girl’s ex-partner.

The 36-year-old allegedly ambushed the girl and when she arrived at the scene, he got out of his car and attacked her.

The girl’s brother and the 30-year-old were wounded in the shoulder blade by the gunfire and were taken to the hospital, while two shell casings from a 9-gauge pistol were found at the scene.

The authorities are conducting an investigation to identify the perpetrator.
