A MiG-29 of the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down during the night by pro-Russian separatist rebels in the Lugansk region, as announced by a spokesman of the Ukrainian armed forces.
“The MiG-29 was shot down by terrorists in the morning, after it had neutralized a group of insurgents” said the representative of counterterrorism operations.
According to the same source, the pilot ejected and was saved.
