“The deal with Greece will not work” wrote the head of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, Guy Verhofstadt, on his Twitter account commenting the outcome of yesterday’s Eurogroup.

“At 11h, I will propose to change the focus from accountancy measures to real modernisation measures” he noted adding that Greece is passing measures without implementing them.

He also said that if Europe continues ignoring the reality, the new tranche will be another waste of tax payers’ money.
