Greeks Gone West is a series of video vignettes the US Embassy in Athens made about the world of work in the US. These videos aim to improve the understanding of US society through the prism of Greeks and Greek-Americans with interesting work lives while also showing possibilities during a time, in Greece, when life seems full of limitations and frustrations.

Today’s video features George Lois who is an art director, designer and author. He is perhaps best known for over 92 covers he designed for Esquire magazine from 1962 to 1972. In 2008, The Museum of Modern Art exhibited 32 of Lois’s Esquire covers.
