The police pursuit of a man Wednesday afternoon in Omonia, following a report of the suspect stealing copper from a nearby building was intense and chaotic.

Upon spotting the police and realising they had entered the building, the man began leaping from one rooftop to another in a bid to avoid his arrest, showing little regard for the danger he was putting himself in.

About a half  hour later the police entered a building on Anaxagora Street where they  located the man on the rooftop and arrested him.
