Virus-tainted porn on Facebook causes furor

Greek police’s electronic crimes unit issues warning after numerous instances

Facebook users in Greece were inundated with virus-infected porn over recent days via a backdoor Trojan, with the police electronic crimes unit issuing a warning due to the rapid spread of the malicious software.
The initial porn post appears as having been shared by a friend of the account’s user, with a tag included. Up to 20 “friends” can be included.
If the user clicks on the porn video the screen will be diverted to a bogus webpage where footage will appear for a few seconds. Afterwards, the user is informed that a download is necessary to upgrade the Adobe Flash Player, with the message reading ” InstallFlashPlayer.exe”
