A small boat carrying refugees sank northeast of Samos island in the sea area.

According to information, the boat capsized for unknown reasons and dozens of refugees fell in the water.

16 refugees were rescued by a Turkish fishing boat, while 15 more are missing.

Two vessels of the Greek coast guard, a vessel of Greek Navy and a helicopter of Frontex are searching the area for the missing persons.
