All faxes accounted for… ND leadership election results show 11.3% lead by Meimarakis

All 404,078 voters present and accounted for, with Meimarakis and Mitsotakis still in the lead

President of the conservative New Democracy (ND) party announced the final results following a delay in the tallying procedure on account of isolated regions not having access to facsimile machines.

 

The results show that 404,078 voters cast their ballots as follows:

Evangelos Meimarakis:   39.8%   160,823 voters
Kyriakos Mitsotakis:    28.5%   115,162 voters
Apostolos Tzitzikostas:      20.3%  82,028 voters
Adonis Georgiadis:   11.4%  46,065 voters
