Athens Law School: Gas masks, cutters and sticks found by the police in the occupation of the cafeteria

The canteen had been under occupation for a long time, helmets and spray guns were found – The number of arrests reaches 28

The squatters had set up an operations centre inside the Law School of the University of Athens, as the police officers who participated in the operation of the ELAS in the presence of a prosecutor found.

Inside the cafeteria, among other things, anti-gas masks, a chain cutter, chains, stilettos, helmets and sprays were found, which were confiscated by the police officers.

28 people were arrested:

The raid took place on Tuesday morning at the occupied building on Tuesday morning. The operation ended shortly before 12 noon and the police made 28 arrests. Several foreigners were found inside the squat.

Immediately after the police operation, students gathered outside the law school and shouted slogans against the police. Among those arrested were eight women from England, France, Italy, France and Germany who have no connection with the Law School.

The 28 charges (18 women and 10 men have been charged) are expected to be converted into arrests on charges of disturbing the peace, occasional damage and other offences.
