The Athens Stock Exchange saw a drop in equity prices at 11 a.m. on Thursday with the basic share price index down 2.56% at 899.44 points and turnover at 18.865 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks decreased by 2.74% and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down by 1.43%.
All individual sectors moved downwards, with the biggest losses in Banks (-4.75%), Financials (-3.95%), Utilities (-3.36%) and Travel & Leisure (-2.80%).
Of the stocks traded, 12 were up, 48 were down and 7 were unchanged.
