Athens Stock Exchange opening delayed

The ECB rejected Greece's request ot lift restrictions for Greek investors

The European Central Bank (ECB) refused the request of the Bank of Greece and the Capital Market Commission for the reopening of the Athens stock eschange and a lift to restrictions for Greek investors. This means that local investors will not be able to use existing deposit accounts for share purchases. The same sources point to the opening of the stock exchange with restrictions for almost a week before the situation is reassessed.
