The ECB, the Bank of Greece (BoG) and the Association of Greek Banks, in conjunction with Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos decided tom relax the measures in place regarding ATM cash withdrawals in order to avoid long queues on Fridays and facilitate. According to the new rules people will be permitted to withdraw a total of 420 (7×60) Euros any day of the week and not just Fridays, which is what was in effect until now. Until now the week counted from Saturday to the next Friday, which meat that if someone did not withdraw the total amount on that day they would miss the 420 of that week. If someone withdraws the aggregate amount allowed for the whole week on a Monday they will have to wait for 7 days to be permitted to take out any cash.
