Greek author and columnist Yiannis Kakoulides succumbed to his battle with cancer at the age of 69 years. The award-winning author wrote poetry, prose, scripts and lyrics for over 500 well-known Greek songs. His poems have been published in numerous Greek and foreign periodicals and have been translated into many languages.
