BBC made an incalculable gaffe this morning, through its Twitter account, where it presented Queen Elizabeth II as dead.

This tweet could not have gone unnoticed. Other British media immediately started writing about Elizabeth. However, there was nothing wrong with “Lizzy”. She just visited King Edward hospital for a routine yearly checkup. Even though Ahmen Khawaja, who publicized the tweet said that it was a prank on her phone left unattended at home, the BBC officially announced that it was performing a “test-run” on what would happen. The Evening Standard, however, states that Khawaja will certainly be punished by her employers for said mistake.
