Luke Austin, an Australian from Perth is the winner of the 2015 International Landscape Photography Award. The judging committee had a very difficult task of picking the best entry among 2,600 contestants that took part in the competition. Luke managed to impress the jury with his portfolio of 4 black and white photos of the diverse Australian landscape. He won a cash prize of $5,000 and a bespoke copy of the International Landscape Photographer of the Year book. ‘Australia is the ideal place to photograph landscape, as it has a great variety of natural environments’, said Luke, who was surprised to win first place.
