The body of the captain of the Hellenic Navy helicopter AB-212 that crashed on Thursday was found on Kineros islet on Friday in the eastern Aegean Sea during an ongoing search and rescue operation.

The body of Lieutenant Anastasios Toulitsis was found near the spot where the bodies of the two other crew members and the remains of the helicopter were found near a hilltop on Kineros.

The bodies of Lieutenant Konstantinos Pananas and Warrant officer Eleftherios Evangelou were found yesterday.
