Chaos in Piraeus: Immigrant threatens to throw his baby into the sea

The incident ended with other refugees taking the infant away from the father

The refugees and immigrants staying at passenger terminals of Piraeus port expressed their frustration and anger on Tuesday morning after being informed by Secretary-General of Migration Policy regarding their removal from the port to other hosting facilities throughout Greece.

One immigrant took his baby and held him up over his head while heading towards the sea, an act which was perceived as an attempt to throw the baby into the sea! The incident ended with other refugees managing to take the infant from the hands of his father.

In the meantime, migrants set up some tents at the point where cars are passing to get on and off the ships blocking the road and put their children in the tents protesting against their transfer to other facilities and the closed borders.
