The European Commission issued a new directive regarding the age that teenagers can receive their driving license. The directive states that teenagers as young as 14 years of age will be able to get a driver’s permit for light quadricycles, a privilege that had previously been reserved for those aged 16 and over.
The new directive for the harmonization of driving licenses concerns light quadricycles. France has enthusiastically rushed to implement the directive.
In Greece, the minimum age for the driving test is 18 years.
