Extension for submitting tax statements till July 15

Fines from 100-500 Euros for failing the deadline

The Greek Finance Ministry announced it has granted an extension till Monday, July 15 to people and legal entities to submit their tax statements. The previous deadline was June 30. The announcement stressed the decision to grant a 15 day extension was made due to problem that had arisen because of the abstention of accountants to process tax statements and other reasons. The Ministry clarified that no further extensions would be given. It should be noted that people failing to meet the deadline will have to pay fines ranging from 100 to 500 Euros subject to individual cases.
