A video showing a female police officer in Cyprus using coarse language against a foreign inmate at a detention facility has caused an uproar. The footage shows the police officer swearing against foreign national using expressions such as ‘F@@ck your Allah’ and ‘F^#@ck your mother’. The foreigner was potting against the conditions at the centre and was reportedly flashing his genitalia to women officers. The officer was suspended of her duties pending further investigations. She could face penal and disciplinary charges.
