Unstable weather is expected at Easter, with the data available so far indicating rain in the west, central and north while as we approach those days it will be increasingly clear what will apply. Forecasts so far are calling for punchy weather in the Aegean after Holy Wednesday, but it is not yet clear what the weather will be like for Easter in the Cyclades, with early forecasts for the night of the Resurrection calling for moderate to strong southerly winds on Easter Sunday morning.

In a post on Wednesday, Sakis Arnaoutoglou wrote that from next Sunday and most days of Holy Week, weather conditions will be good “in most areas of the country with a few local showers in the mountains of central and northern Greece during the warm hours of the day.”

As for the weather at Easter, he stresses that “although relatively far away, with the current forecast data, remains puzzling for Sunday (5/5) as to the possibility of phenomena and in which areas of the country because temperature-wise he should still be looking towards spring”.
