A guitar used by George Harrison while the Beatles were still in their early steps, will be auctioned off in New York today. The estimated price for it? 400,000 to 600,000 dollars.

The electric guitar is the limelight of Julien’s Auctions auctioning of hundreds of personal items of the rock stars’ lives.

Harrison had borrowed the guitar when he had taken his to be repaired, and had been photographed playing with it in many concerts.

The guitar is being sold by a UK collector who had, in the past, allowed the Beatles Liverpool Museum to showcase it.
