Government spokeswoman Olga Gerovassili on Thursday in a statement to real.gr stressed the importance of the participation of the opposition’s parties in a constructive and of national importance dialogue to finally decide on the social security reforms.

Mrs. Gerovassili underlined that the participation of the opposition’s parties and the submission of their proposals would strengthen Greece’s negotiating position.

“The government is ready to listen. It’s time to express their views,” she said adding that even if they reject the government’s position, they must propose an alternative solution for the sustainability of the system and the end major injustices.
