The coast guard on the small Dodecanese isle of Tilos arrested four Russian and Ukrainian nationals for allegedly smuggling 64 irregular immigrants onto the island, located between migrant-laden Kos and Rhodes.

Following a tip, authorities detected the German-flagged vessel attempting to off-load its human cargo on Greek territory. The yacht and the suspects along with all 64 irregular migrants were taken to the port of Tilos.
