Black-and-white drama, “Anna”, by Greek-Cypriot director Spyros Haralabous won the award for Best International Short Film at the 21st Delphi Bank Greek Film Festival in Melbourne, winning 1,000 dollars. The film centers around the life of Michalis, who spends most of his day watching a TV soap opera about a heroine named Anna, but soon becomes obsessed with his 30-year-old caregiver from the Philippines.
The film had previously been awarded the first prize at the Cypriot International Short Film Festival in 2012.
