In his outright statement Justin Trudeau said that Canada will not become part of the United States. Elon Musk’s answer was “Girl, you are no longer the governor of Canada, so it doesn’t matter what you say”.

Justin Trudeau stressed, among other things, that “there is not the slightest possibility of Canada becoming part of the United States. Workers and communities in both of our countries benefit from being each other’s largest trading partner and security partner.”

Elon Musk’s response comes after Donald Trump commented Trudeau’s resignation, repeating that Canada could become the 51st state.

He then published a map where the border between the two countries had disappeared.
