According to Greece’s state-run news agency, Alternate Defence Minister Kostas Isichos on Monday met with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela VP Jorge Arreaza, who was accompanied by Rosa Chavez and the country’s envoy to Greece.

The substance of the meeting referred to the “establishment of a committee to prepare a bilateral agreement” for cooperation in trade (with Venezuela), energy, banking and culture.

The Argentina-born and raised Isichos also reportedly discussed “current affairs” in the two countries.
