On the sidelines of the leaders summit, Tsipras will meet with Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Thursday morning before participating in a meeting of Eu member states with Turkey.

The Greek government believes that Greece is fulfilling its pledges, hence the EU should also meet its obligations along with Turkey and third countries concerning the readmission agreements.

The Prime Minister said that despite progress there is still a great deal of work that needs to be done and stressed that only the Lesbos hotspot is functional at this point.
