In a distinctive interview with dancer Tasos Xiarchos, Afroditi Latinopoulou spoke candidly about her views on illegal immigration, opposition to the promotion of gay culture, Roma communities, and adoption by same-sex couples. The president of the Voice of Reason also showcased her dancing skills, shared when she first felt deep love, revealed her favorite fabric, and accused the political left of responsibility for the murder of Charlie Kirk in the United States.

Latinopoulou also expressed her strong faith in God, mentioning the late Archbishop Christodoulos and his connection with the younger generation, “who wanted to listen to him.”

She stated that she has many friends who are gay but clarified her concerns about agendas imposed on young children, emphasizing that “what’s healthy is what you do—‘yes, I am gay, but I don’t try to impose it.’” She also noted that “not all politicians use drugs.”

The Voice of Reason president expressed her wish to introduce uniforms in schools.

Regarding illegal immigrants, she said, “They kept telling us these are minors, but we saw that the boats carried mainly men aged 18 to 35. Our taxes pay for benefits, housing, and whatever the immigrants want.”

She added, “I am not afraid for my life. I have received threats but continue as I wish,” and confessed that she was disturbed by Charlie Kirk’s murder because “things have gotten out of hand. Charlie Kirk hadn’t harmed anyone; he spoke at universities. The left was responsible for his murder.”

She also commented, “There is no law and order, and no cleanup at all levels because they care about other things, like how to distribute money to their friends.”

When asked about adoption by same-sex couples, she expressed strong opposition, saying, “It is a natural fact that a child is born from a man and a woman, and there is no ‘father 1’ and ‘father 2.’”

The dance and the flustered young woman

Latinopoulou was asked if she dances, and when she said yes, Tasos Xiarchos invited her to dance two songs with him: I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Anxiety.

After their dance, a provocatively dressed dancer named Cecilia appeared on set but was blurred in the footage due to harsh criticism she received. Latinopoulou praised her, saying, “She dances very well; she has talent.”

The dance moment is around the 22-minute mark of the interview video.

Additional remarks

Latinopoulou said she likes linen fabric, calling it elegant, and joked that if she were a piece of clothing, she’d be a linen shirt.

Regarding her first deep love, she said it was when her youngest brother was born and placed in a bassinet when she was eight years old — “it was the most beautiful thing.” The same feeling came with her second brother, the family’s Benjamin.
