Passenger traffic in Greek ports fell by half a percentage point in the fourth quarter of 2014, compared with the same period in 2013, said the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Friday. Domestic passenger traffic totaled 6,114,935 in the fourth quarter of 2014, falling from 6,023,531 in 2014, a decline of 1.5%. Foreign passenger traffic jumped 25.8% in the fourth quarter to 297,000 from 236,067 in 2013.

Cargo traffic grew 6.5% in the last three months of 2014, compared with the same period in 2013, with domestic traffic up 2% and foreign cargo traffic rising by 7.8% over the same period.
