In a few days, our national performer will stage the show “Rempetiko unplugged» in the beautiful garden of the Greek Concert Hall as a tribute to the journey of  the traditional  rebetiko music and its roots.

Giorgos Dalaras said that: “It is essential that we go back to the roots of rebetiko on multiple counts.The world did not ever stop singing and has always found refuge and solace in music.This has also been proven in our history, when through songs music has reflected in all aspects the hardship, ordeals and and toil of the people. The rebetiko was kept alive and people sing and enjoy it even today.
