Colorado Springs police responded to a call by an active shooter in the parking lot of a Planned Parenthood clinic. The gunman shot a number of people before barricading himself inside the clinic.
Four people have been injured, including a police officer, and one person is reportedly dead in the parking lot.
Earlier, the gunman was firing at passing cars.
The shooter is believed to be wearing a long coat and has a hunting-type hat.
