Idomeni refugees set up makeshift mosque (photos)

They plan to stay put until borders open

The move by refugees and illegal migrants to set up a makeshift mosque at Idomeni camp on the northern borders between Greece and FYROM indicates that not only do they intend to be relocated to other hotspots in Greece, as the government would like them to, but are planning on staying for as long as it take until the borders reopen. On Friday an imam attended the tent-mosque for the refugees to practice their religious duties. Around 10,000 remain at the camp and many attended the prayers under the imam, as can be seen in the photos.
