The Production Index in Industry (IPI) recorded a decrease of 3.0% in February, Hellenic Statistical Authority said in a report released on Friday.

In February 2015, the annual rate of change of the IPI was 1.8%. In the 2-month period from January 2016 to February 2016, the average rate of change of the IPI was 0.6%.

In February 2015, the corresponding average rate of change of the IPI was 1.0%. The seasonally adjusted Production Index in Industry (IPI), after eliminating the monthly effects (e.g. holidays, tourist period etc), in February 2016 compared with January 2016 recorded a decrease of 4.3%.
