Fotis Kouvelis appeared determined to contribute to a “progressive governance” of Greece and talking to Free Sunday newspaper he didn’t rule out an institutional cooperation’ of the United Movement of European Left with, while he criticized the current leadership of Democratic Left.
Mr. Kouvelis described the objectives of the United Movement of European Left, which he founded, noting that it is a collective movement that does not aim to become a party, but to contribute to a progressive governance of the country and to help come together all left forces.
“The left radical and reformist, SYRIZA and European left in general, have no reason now not to cooperate,” he said.
