ABTA, the UK’s largest travel association, will hold its annual travel convention this year in Greece, and specifically at the five-star luxury resort of in Costa Navarino, described by the trade group as a “a sustainable resort” in southeastern Peloponnese.
Costa Navarino is the biggest and most recent addition to Greece’s top-end resorts, sporting two five-star hotels, state-of-the-art conference facilities, a spa and thalassotherapy centre, as well as two award-winning golf courses and numerous restaurants.
Tourism professionals in Messinia prefecture and throughout the Peloponnese expect the conference of British tourism professionals, from Oct. 12 to Oct. 14, to highlight the entire region, something that was achieved last year when the event was held in Slovakia.
“Messinia is a beautiful and historic part of Greece and Costa Navarino’s facilities are second to none,” was the statement ABTA chairman Noel Josephides on the association’s website.
